1) By class time on Wednesday, 11/30 after Thanksgiving, define each of the words below and be able to discuss and use in an original sentence.
2) By class time on Thursday, 12/1, post to the wiki page below 5 different ways to remember your word that is assigned below -- see initials. You may choose to add any combination of definition, synonym, antonym, sentence, image, word association, different forms of the word, word comparisons (i.e. comparing to words from past lists).
3) Your quiz for these words will be on Monday, December 5.

divergent (BS) adj. pertaining to or causing the act of of moving in different directions from a common point. Syn- Disagreeing and dissimilar. Ant- agreeing and convergent. The jobs fair caused the best friends to set out on divergent paths and never saw each other again.
ramifications (CB) (Noun) Definition: A consequence of an action or event Synonyms: consequence, result, complication Antonym: Cause Sentence: He fully understood the ramifications of this action but decided to act anyway and accept the punishment. Other forms: Ramify Cause and effect, actions and consequences
